Our P.E.A.R.L.S

The Chesapeake P.E.A.R.L.S., Incorporated  is a 501(c)3 non-profit entity established in 2007 in Chesapeake, Virginia by members of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated ®, Omicron Pi Omega chapter. Our mission is to support and advance education by providing deserving Hampton Roads students with financial assistance to attend college.

Since our inception in 2007, we have proudly awarded over $100,000 in scholarships. In response to the challenges posed by the pandemic, we have awarded over $40,000 in scholarships to high school students within the City of Chesapeake, ensuring that educational opportunities continue to be accessible to those in need.

 

Our commitment to education and community service drives our efforts to empower and uplift the next generation of leaders in Hampton Roads. Through partnerships and dedicated support, we aim to make a lasting impact on the lives of students and families in our community.

 

Comprised of 100 professional women with diverse backgrounds in education, business, healthcare, technology, public relations, and the armed forces, Chesapeake P.E.A.R.L.S., Inc. is committed to service and community empowerment. We give our time and talent to programs that uplift and empower Hampton Roads women, families, and community members in need.

 

As partners with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated ®, Omicron Pi Omega chapter, Chesapeake Public Schools, and other local charitable nonprofits and organizations, we strive to make a meaningful impact through collaboration and service.
